At Boulder Longevity Institute, we’re always exploring the most advanced and meaningful ways to help you live a longer, healthier, and more vibrant life. This month, we’re turning the spotlight on something foundational to your overall health and quality of life: the brain.

We’re highlighting two groundbreaking programs that reflect the cutting edge of brain health innovation:

  • TB006, an investigational therapy for Alzheimer’s disease available through our Expanded Access Program.
  • Functional Neuro Therapy (FNT), our personalized approach to rewiring and restoring optimal brain function.

Whether you’re seeking better focus, memory, emotional resilience, or simply want to preserve long-term cognitive health, these therapies represent powerful tools at the intersection of science and medicine.

TB006: A New Frontier in Alzheimer’s Therapy

What is TB006?
TB006 is an investigational monoclonal antibody currently offered at BLI through an Expanded Access Program (EAP) under IRB oversight. While not yet FDA-approved, early research suggests TB006 may help slow Alzheimer’s progression and improve cognitive function.

How it works:

  • TB006 targets Galectin-3 (Gal-3), a protein that, when elevated, drives inflammation, cell damage, and toxic protein buildup in the brain.
  • By neutralizing Gal-3, TB006 helps reduce harmful brain inflammation and supports healthier neural environments.

The science so far:

  • In animal studies, TB006 reduced toxic protein plaques, decreased inflammation, and even supported neuron regeneration.
  • Early human trials demonstrated TB006 is safe and well-tolerated, with larger studies underway for Alzheimer’s, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.

Why it matters:
Traditional Alzheimer’s medications only manage symptoms. TB006 represents a new approach: tackling one of the underlying drivers of neurodegeneration in hopes of truly altering the disease’s course.

At BLI, eligible patients can access TB006 through our Expanded Access Program, ensuring careful oversight and safety while offering hope where few options exist.

Functional Neuro Therapy (FNT): Rewiring the Brain

What is FNT?
Functional Neuro Therapy at BLI is a personalized, science-based program designed to optimize brain communication, restore function, and improve quality of life.

The concept:
Our brains are shaped by sensory experiences across a lifetime. But trauma, toxins, or even dormant viruses can disrupt these neural connections, leading to brain fog, poor focus, memory challenges, or emotional imbalances.

The process:
We start with a WAVi Brain Scan to assess how different regions of the brain are communicating. From there, we create an individualized plan to retrain and rewire those pathways.

Therapies may include:

  • Targeted cognitive or sensory-motor exercises
  • Neuroplastic training to encourage new connections
  • Daily integration practices such as balance training, meditation, or skill learning

The result:
By restoring efficient communication across brain regions, patients often experience improved memory, sharper focus, emotional stability, and an overall sense of clarity.

The Bottom Line

At Boulder Longevity Institute, we believe brain health is central to living fully and aging well. Whether through innovative investigational therapies like TB006 or personalized approaches like Functional Neuro Therapy, our goal is to help you protect, preserve, and optimize your most vital organ.
