The World’s Most Advanced Research-Based Healthcare, Customized for You.
Boulder Longevity Institute (BLI) was born out of the need to practice better medicine. Working as an orthopedist in a traditional healthcare practice, Dr. Yurth saw how the limitations imposed by these traditional models led to a fragmented and single-minded approach to treating patients that was neither fulfilling nor effective. It often takes years for the latest science and research to make its way to clinical application, and BLI believes in bridging that gap by offering our clients the most cutting-edge, science-backed treatment options in a guided, clinical environment.

Eva Dec, ND, DC, HHC
Cellular Optimization Provider
Dr. Eva Dec brings over 16 years of experience in integrative and functional medicine, helping individuals achieve balance, recover from chronic illness, and cultivate long-term wellness. With a diverse background in naturopathic and chiropractic care, holistic health counseling, and integrative nutrition, she provides highly individualized and compassionate care. She believes that true healthcare is inseparable from daily self-care, and her mission is to empower patients with sustainable lifestyle solutions for lifelong vitality.
Dr. Dec’s passion for natural medicine stems from her own healing journey. During college, she faced persistent fatigue and unexplained health issues, while her mother struggled with the pain of two autoimmune conditions. Inspired by this transformation, Dr. Dec committed herself to a career in functional nutrition and naturopathic medicine.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Communications from DePaul University in Chicago before pursuing a board certification in Holistic Health & Nutrition Counseling at the renowned Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Her passion for functional medicine deepened, leading her to obtain dual doctorates in Chiropractic and Naturopathy from the National University of Health Sciences in Illinois.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of healthcare, Dr. Dec has completed extensive post-graduate training in lifestyle and cellular medicine, nutritional science, complex illness, genomics, detoxification, IV therapy, and functional testing. Originally from Chicago, she relocated to Colorado to be closer to family. Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, meditating, dancing, and spending time outdoors with her energetic Shih Tzu, Wally.

Abid Husain, MD, FACC, ABAARM, FSSRP
Integrative Medicine & Cardiology Physician
Dr. Husain is among the revolutionary few who are changing the way cardiovascular disease is addressed in medicine. As an established cardiologist in the conventional healthcare system, he experienced its benefits and limitations firsthand. Unwilling to settle and driven to learn more, he dedicated years to advanced education in functional medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, and anti-aging biotechnologies only to discover that all these fields are unified in the study of cellular medicine. His education in fundamental cellular processes was spearheaded by Dr. William Seeds and the Seeds Scientific Research and Performance Institute, where he is now part of the teaching faculty.
Today, Dr. Husain combines his training and the application of individualized therapies from multiple medical disciplines to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care that is unique, preventative, and highly impactful. Through lab testing and non-invasive imaging, he is able to identify patients at risk for heart disease and treat existing, subtle, and specific cardiac issues.
In addition to being a dedicated, triple-board-certified physician, Dr. Husain is also an accomplished painter, outdoorsman, and athlete. He believes that a balanced life complete with a diverse set of interests and a sense of humor is the healthiest way to navigate an increasingly stressful and toxic world.
Dr. Husain’s motto is “Let’s live long, live well, and have fun doing it!”
